60-day tourist visa. Apply online before travel at thaievisa.go.th.
Issued at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, and other international airports. Bring a passport photo, return ticket, and hotel booking.

Common Questions
Can I extend my stay beyond the visa-free period?
Yes — you can visit a local immigration office and apply for a 30-day extension for ฿1,900. Alternatively, apply for an e-Visa before you travel for a 60-day tourist visa that can be extended once.
What happens if I overstay?
Overstaying is taken seriously. You will be fined ฿500 per day (max ฿20,000), and long overstays can lead to a ban from re-entering Thailand.
Can I work on a tourist visa?
No. Working — including remote work for non-Thai companies — technically requires a Non-Immigrant B (business) visa and a work permit. Thailand does have a Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa for remote workers with qualifying income.
Is there a minimum funds requirement?
You should be able to show ฿10,000 per person or ฿20,000 per family at the border if asked, either in cash or on a card.
How do I apply for an e-Visa?
Apply at thaievisa.go.th. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days. You'll need a valid passport, return ticket, and hotel booking.
