Canopy Hotel to Bring 181 New Rooms and Homewood Suites Hotel to Bring 152 New Rooms to Downtown Nashville and The Gulch Neighborhood. Tara Investments announced today the “topping out” of its new hotels in Downtown Nashville signifying that the structural framework is now complete. The new 181-room Canopy by Hilton, along with the 152-room Homewood Suites hotel, are slated to open in July 2024, on the corner of Overton and Division Street. An official topping out ceremony will be held at the construction site located in the Gulch district, which will include hard hat tours of the property and a private reception to follow. Yates Construction serves as the contractor for the project and the hotels will be managed by Tara Investments. Upon completion, the new Canopy hotel will feature modern design elements with 25 suites and a 2-story presidential suite showcasing a 600 sq. ft. private terrace facing the Nashville skyline.
