The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection is pleased to announce the appointment of seasoned hospitality executive Kori Johnson as General Manager. With an extensive background within the Marriott portfolio, Kori will bring over two decades of hotel expertise to spearhead the historic D.C. landmark. As General Manager, Kori will be responsible for all property operations, including 581 modern guestrooms suites, over 42,000 square feet of newly restored meeting event space, and the vibrant EDGAR Bar Kitchen.
Most recently, Kori served as General Manager of the Washington Marriott Georgetown, where she oversaw a $28 million dollar hotel renovation that was completed in less than seven months. Prior stints include several General Manager roles within Marriott Select Brands, Hotel Manager at Washington Marriott Georgetown Resident Manager at New Orleans Marriott. Kori began her career with Marriott over 21 years ago as a Guest Services Agent at Residence Inn Bethesda.
