Indonesia’s Central Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday that the country’s inflation rate for the year 2017 stood at 3.61%, up slightly from the previous two years but still below the target.
The inflation rate was 3.35% in 2015 and 3.02% the following year, which was the lowest figure in five years.
Last year’s inflation rate, however, was still below the target of 4.3% in the 2017 State Budget and within the range of 3 to 5% targeted by Bank Indonesia, the central bank.
