Appointed General Manager

The Gates Hotel South Beach – a DoubleTree by Hilton announces the appointment of Brent McNally as General Manager. In this role, McNally will be responsible for driving overall operations and guest satisfaction of the lifestyle hotel’s 235-rooms, signature restaurant Agaveros Cantina, and 3,000-sq-ft of meeting space.
Brent assumes this position immediately and has already stepped into the role of overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations including the recent completion of a spectacular reconceptualization and redesign of their hotel entrance, lobby bar and lounge, and destination pool deck as well as reimagined guestrooms – all featuring custom artwork from award-winning artist Jorge De La Torriente.
McNally brings more than 12 years of experience in opening and repositioning hotels. Most recently, McNally served as General Manager for Monterey Tides Hotel. Prior, he held various executive leadership positions including General Manager at Shorebreak Hotel and Assistant General Manager at Cypress Hotel (currently Juniper Hotel). An industry veteran, McNally was formerly on the Board of Directors for Monterey County Hospitality Association and Vice-Chair of Board of Directors for Visit Huntington Beach.
